Heart Village

Heart is a 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Lake Wales, Florida, north of Orlando. Our Mission is to demonstrate and cultivate the good news of God’s love by educating, equipping and empowering people with practical skills in cultural adaptation, problem solving, and community development through experiential training, to serve the needs of the hungry and oppressed.

 Heart offers environmental science education to local primary schools and universities through the Outdoor Education programs as well as missionary exposure trips and training for churches through the Mission Awareness Venture program.

At the heart of Heart is the missionary training program which give college students, gap year students, families, and current missionairies and pastors hands-on training in agriculture, approprite technology, animal science, communication, and other topics to help assist them in finding their calling and/or equipping them for the mission field. Our alumni are serving all over the world and often tell us that Heart was a life-changing experience in their walk with God.
